The Pickle-ator with (from left) kraut, pickles, and kimchi

Available at Pike Place Market, local farmers markets, and in our online store:

The gift that keeps on giving! Britt’s Pickle-ator contains everything you need to start fermenting your own foods at home – including Britt's recipe and instruction book, sea salt, and spices. Our kit provides a half-gallon canning jar, an airlock, a reusable lid with grommet, gasket, and metal tightening ring, and two round ceramic tiles for weighing down the contents. All you need to bring to the party is fresh vegetables and clean filtered water.

Start your culinary adventure with Britt’s recipes for cucumber pickle, sauerkraut, kimchi, beets, vegetable medley, preserved lemons, green beans, green tomatoe and then then go on from there to make your own creations! There are hundreds of recipes online and at the library; the variations are truly only as limited as your imagination. Available the Pike Place Market (Search corner market) store or at the Ballard Farmers Market and the West Seattle Farmers Market. Also available here at our online store.
